Evaluation: two individual tasks 30% + 30%, final examination test 40%. Maximal sum 100%, minimal sum for success 56%. Final evaluation A 100%-94%, B 93%-86%, C 85%-76%, D 75%-66%, E 65%-56%, FX under 56%
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Introduction to the basic problems of interface design. Theoretical principles, methods of evaluation and practical examples. Individual projects are oriented to interface testing and own interface design. The problem of human-technology interaction is extended to the understanding of basic features of electronic devices and their limitations and shortcomings.

- bad design, testing of user interfaces
- categories of users, scenario of use
- visual, cognitive and motoric abilities of user
- low fidelity and high fidelity steps of design, prototyping
- evaluation and test methods of user interfaces, paradigms of interaction
- style, branch and history, rules of good interface design
- user support, manuals
- physical base of information technology: electronic components
- memory components of type semiconductor, magnetic, optical and the reliability of use
- attributes of inputs (sensors, converters) and outputs (displays)
- electromagnetic compatibility
- secure use of electronic devices
