Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Learning outcomes of the course unit: Students will be familiarized with basic conceptual apparatus, structure of law as well as the theoretical basic of legal analysis of state power and legal system. It also focuses on the issue of the state´s origins, recognizes its features, functions, institutional and political system. It will gain basic knowledge the different legal sectors.

1. Fundamentals of the theory of law (law and society, sources of law, legal norms)
2. System of law and law enforcement
3. Fundamentals of European Union law
4. Basics of Constitutional Law (constitutional foundations of the SR, legislative power, executive power, judicial power, other law enforcement authorities)
5. Fundamentals of administrative law (public administration, its components, selected sections of public administration)
6. Basics of administrative procedural law (general administrative procedure, relationship between the administrative order and special procedural rules)
7. Fundamentals of substantive civil law (inheritance, inheritance, civil proceedings)
8. Law and Business (Relationship of Commercial Law to Other Legal Sectors, Trades Licensing, Commercial Companies,
9. Liabilities and Commitments in Commercial Law)
10. Fundamentals of labor law (employment, working time, rest periods, leave, agreements on work done outside the employment relationship)
11. Fundamentals of criminal law (criminal liability, penalties and protective measures, criminal proceedings)
12. Fundamentals of Labor Law (Systematic Financial Law, Institutional Framework - Financial Law Entities, Tax Law)
