The Course Methodology is designed to expose students to important issues which are central to quantitative research. Students learn how to carry out the entire research process, beginning with identifying the research problem and ending with a dissertation thesis or research report. Among the topics covered are theoretical-empirical introduction leading to the formulation of research assumptions, precise operationalization and description of indicators, formulation of research questions and hypotheses in empirical language, presentation of research findings and psychological interpretation of results. This course also addresses skills needed to read, understand and critically evaluate research reports. Awareness is centered on detection of data fabrication and data falsification. | |||||||||||||
