Assessment methods:
1)active participation in seminars in compliance with study guidelines (only relevant for on-site method) followed by PP presentation in class for about 5 minutes speach
2)written exam consisting of 5 theoretical open questions Student performance assessment is based on overall score received in written exam (for every theoretical question can be achieved 25 point, total of 75 points, plus 25 points as maximum for PP presentation , altogether 100 points) divided in 6 classification degrees:
A=94-100=1
B=86-93=1,5
C=76-85=2
D=66-75=2,5
E=56-65=3
FX=0-55=4
 
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Subject pays attention to individual types of the major legal systems in the world today and their geographical background. It provides both the common characteristic and the basis of comparasion (Civil law, Common law system, Religious legal systems, Islamic legal system, Jewish law etc.) The course emphasizes the surces of these legal systems, legal instruments and institutions and understanding of the main differences between the fields of law.

4. Common Law System (judge-made law)
5. Legal system of USA
6. Islamic law in general
7. Hind ulaw, Indian Legal and Judicial system
8. Introduction to China´s Legal system and Japanese Legal system
9. An overview of the South African Legal system
10. The Socialist law in Legal system of several countries
