|Learning outcomes of the course unit:|
|The aim of the course is to familiarize students with basic and advanced methods of process control. The subject has a theoretical and practical character. In the course of teaching, students will learn to model, simulate, control and optimize in technical and non-technical applications. For practical tasks of control for production processes, students will learn to configure HW and SW resources to optimize process control activities to achieve high quality, minimize energy and protect the environment. By completing the course, students will acquire the skills that will enable them to employ in industrial applications, manufacturing enterprises, healthcare, services, etc.|

3. Mathematical models of processes, identification of model parameters for process control.
4.Architectures and structures of an automated control processes.
5.Centralized and decentralized control structures. Advantages, comparing the application.
6. Methodology and principles of integrated production process control. Cyber-physical processes.
7.Methods and algorithms for control of continuous and discrete processes.
8. Digitization of controlled processes. PLC and PID process control algorithms.
9.SW and HW modules for modeling and simulation of control processes.
10.Methods and algorithms for optimization of control processes.
11. Intelligent methods and algorithms for process control.
12.Industry 4.0. Industrial IoT, Big Data and Cloud for Process Control.
