Assessment methods:
Active participation in seminars, during the semester students, work out a semestral project that they present. The semestral project, presentation, and active participation make up 40%
and written exam 60% of the total evaluation of the subject.
Individual grades of the credit system qualification scale are awarded on the basis of scoring, which reflects the degree of success of the course completion as follows:
A = 94 - 100 points = 1
B = 86 - 93 points = 1.5
C = 76 - 85 points = 2
D = 66 - 75 points = 2.5
E = 56 - 65 points = 3
FX = 0 - 55 points = 4
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Learning outcomes of the course unit The aim of the course is to enable the graduates of the Project Management course to be able to orientate themselves in the field of project management, apply practical methods of project initiation, planning, realization, and completion. Comprehensive budgets, implement the necessary changes to projects and set up an optimal schedule for tasks while maintaining decision-making flexibility. In this course, the student will acquire the ability to master the MS Project program.
Course contents:
1. Introduction to project management. Project management methodology, types of projects
2. History of project management. Standards of project management. Certification of project managers
3. Project stakeholders. Project life cycle.
4. Project opening: Project objectives, Project justification, project charter, successful project
5. Project scope - the creation of WBS - hierarchical analysis of (project) works
6. Project time planning - Network analysis, CPM, PERT method, Gantt chart, and Gantt chart
7. Project resource planning - resource capacity planning
8. Project cost planning - project budgeting
9. Planning of project risks and project quality
10. Project realization - project progress monitoring - real value method
11. Project change management and project termination
12. Project manager and project team
