Assessment methods:
Elaboration of a written project of the dissertation (about 15 - 20 pages) and its defense in the form of a discussion with the lecturer. The content of the project is: subject of research, identification of the current state of scientific reflection of the subject of research, research objectives, research questions, chosen methodology, methods and methodology of research, hypotheses, expected benefits for scientific theory and practice. The project is opposed and evaluated by the lecturer and there is a discussion. Evaluation of the project is based on the following criteria: originality of the scientific approach to the project and the ability of the student to defend the project.
Individual grades of the credit system scale are awarded on the basis of a score, which reflects the degree of success of the course as follows:
A = 94 or more points = 1
B = 86-93 points = 1.5
C = 76-85 = 2
D = 66-75 = 2.5
E = 56-65 = 3
FX = 0-55 points = 4
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
In the area of knowledge, graduates of the subject will acquire the theory of methodology of scientific research. In the field of competence, they shape their ability to creatively implement science theory in scientific research. They know the relevant research methods of the branch and their application in the processing of research results.

1. Choice of methodology and research methods in scientific research
2. Setting research objectives
3. Research questions and hypotheses
4. Logical foundations of scientific theory building (axiomatic-deductive approach, inductive approach)
5. Explanation and prediction
6. General and specific methods of scientific research
7. Scientific discourse and argumentation
8. Application of scientific methods in scientific research in scientific research of problems of international business
