Elaboration of a part of semestral work assignment on each exercise and continuous evaluation, submission of semestral work 40 points
Combined examination (written and oral) 60 points

The aim of the course is to provide students with an overview of selected methods and software engineering methodologies. To get acquainted with the principles of object-oriented design and to get an overview of basic UML diagrams.
Course contents:
engineering development history.
Software development lifecycle (cascade model, spiral model, Rapid prototyping, UP).
Planning phase, definition phase, design phase, implementation and testing phase, software maintenance and innovation.
Object-oriented analysis and design.
Collection of requirements - methodology and processing in the process of IS analysis.
UML - use case diagram, activity diagram, class diagram, sequence diagram, collaboration diagram, screen design.
Creation of test scenarios and processes based on usage diagrams and their use in analysis and design of IS (semestral project of subject)
Familiarity with the concepts of change management and incident management in the development of IS according to ITIL
