During the semester: - designing, developing a preventive / intervention program / activity and implementing it in the specific conditions of the school / counseling / health facility and evaluating (70 points) - delivering a written preventive program and presentation in PowerPointe (45 min. ) and conducting a stimulating discussion on the subject (20 points) - active participation in seminars (10 points) The degree of mastering the prescribed knowledge (the quality of acquiring knowledge within the subject) is graded according to the grading scale by the number of points from 0 to 100. Total score the student is the number of points assigned to the student in the active forms of teaching for the elaboration of the seminar work, its presentation and activity. The points obtained from the mid-term evaluation for the seminar work and the active participation in the lectures and seminars constitute the overall assessment. Individual grades of the credit system qualification scale are awarded on the basis of this point evaluation, which reflects the degree of success of completing the course as follows:

A = 94-100 points = 1
B = 86-93 points = 1.5
C = 76-85 points = 2
D = 66-75 points = 2.5
E = 56-65 points = 3
FX = 0 - 55 points = 4
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student will extend the theoretical background of socio-pathological phenomena (social pathology, aggression, aggression, hostility, violence, abuse, abuse and neglect, poverty, material need, prejudice, racism, xenophobia). It has information on the concept of protective and risk factors for problem behavior. It has an overview of the concepts of prevention of socio-pathological phenomena in children and youth in the Czech Republic and abroad. He / she has knowledge about the areas of the most common risk behavior, knows endogenous and exogenous factors influencing their origin. Can design forms and strategies to prevent unwanted behavior, has developed skills in their implementation and evaluation in practice.
Course contents:
1. Theoretical basis of the problem of socio-pathological phenomena (social pathology, aggression, aggression, hostility, violence, abuse, neglect, poverty, material need, prejudice, racism, xenophobia) prevention, intervention.
2. Pathological phenomena: personality, heredity, family, school, peer group, and the general public.
3. The concept of protective and risk factors for problem behavior. Prevalence spectrum (primary, secondary, tertiary / universal, selective, indicated prevention).
4. Conception of prevention of socio-pathological phenomena in children and youth in Slovakia and abroad, possibilities of prevention, diagnostics and intervention to eliminate socio-pathological phenomena in schools and school facilities.

5.Problems of violence and bullying in schools, their prevention, intervention
6.Training, deception, flight, wandering, theft, their prevention, intervention. 7.Xenophobia, racism, intolerance and antisemitism as a risk behavior area, their prevention, intervention.

9. Use of addictive substances (alcohol, cigarettes, marijuana, hard drugs, anabolics, medicines and others) as a risk behavior, their prevention, intervention
10. Netolism and pathological gambling as an area of ​​risk behavior. Spectator violence as an area of ​​risk behavior, their prevention, intervention
11.Social and pathological religious movements as an area of ​​risk behavior
12. Food intake disorders, self-harm and suicidal behavior as areas of risk behavior, their prevention, intervention
13. Creating a preventive / intervention program proposal for a specific group of pupils, its implementation and evaluation in the final report
